MAT candidates can use the MAT response sheet 2025 to calculate their scores and estimate their percentiles, which is essential to get admission to target institutes. MAT awards three marks for every correct answer and deducts one mark for each wrong MCQ answer. Here is how scores can be calculated for MAT: Step 1: Download the MAT 2025 answer sheet and response sheet from iimcat.ac.in. Step 2: Estimate the number of correct answers and multiply it by three. For instance, for 30 correct answers, the score could be 30 x 3 = 90. Step 3: Calculate the number of wrong MCQ answers and multiply it by one. For instance, for 10 wrong answers, the score would be 10 x 1 = 10. Step 4: Deduct the wrong answer score from the correct answer score to arrive at the total raw score. From the example, 30 - 10 = 20. Step 5: Compare the total score with the previous year’s percentile figures to estimate the percentile.
For objections or discrepancies found in the MAT answer sheet and the response sheet, candidates can submit their objections on the IIM website. Upon payment of a fee of INR 1,200, candidates can submit their objections to specific questions along with a supporting reason. If the objection is accepted, the cost is refunded.
