Below are recommended books, online resources, and mock series to prepare efficiently for each section.
Regular timed practice with mocks and past papers is essential. Recommended test series and strategy:
Cover fundamentals first, then shift to speed & accuracy. Use the books and online resources above, take frequent timed mocks, and revise topic-wise. With consistent 4–6 months of focused preparation, candidates can target a competitive SNAP percentile.
SNAP 2025 result will be declared by Symbiosis International (Deemed to be University) (SIU) on January 9, 2026 on the official website snaptest.org. Candidates can check their scorecard (sectional scores, overall percentile and qualifying status) by logging in with their SNAP ID and password. Results will be followed by institute-wise shortlisting based on SNAP cutoffs for GE, PI and WAT rounds.
SNAP 2025 is conducted across three test dates (Dec 6, Dec 14, Dec 20). SIU applies a normalisation process to equate scores across different sessions to ensure fairness. Normalisation maps raw scores from each session to a common scale before percentiles are computed and rankings are assigned.
After the results, participating Symbiosis institutes will publish institute-wise cutoffs for shortlisting candidates to GE-PI-WAT. Expected cutoffs (approx.) based on historical trends are shown below:
| Institute | Expected Cutoff (Percentile) |
|---|---|
| SIBM Pune | 97+ |
| SCMHRD Pune | 94+ |
| SIIB Pune | 90+ |
| SIBM Bangalore | 88+ |
| SIOM Nashik | 85+ |
SNAP 2025 examination will be held in around 80 cities across India on December 6, 14, and 20, 2025 in two slots each day. Candidates can choose three preferred exam centres at the time of registration. Requests to change exam centres are not accepted after the registration fee payment. The allotted exam centre, with its full address, will be printed on the SNAP admit card. On the exam day, candidates must bring only one pen, their admit card, and a valid ID proof. Reporting time is 2 hours before the exam begins for frisking and verification.

SNAP 2025 will be conducted across ~80 cities. Candidates must select three cities in order of preference during registration. The final allotment is mentioned on the admit card.
Symbiosis International (Deemed) University does not release the answer key and response sheet. Answer keys were released till 2019, but as the examination is conducted in three slots and candidates can attempt the exam multiple times, the answer key is no longer published.
Candidates can refer to the SNAP memory-based answer key prepared by candidates who attempted the paper and experts. With the memory-based answer key, candidates can estimate their scores by marking one mark for each right answer and deducting 0.25 for each wrong answer. Previewing the previous answer key can help in estimating the difficulty level of SNAP 2025, which is expected to be moderate to difficult.
SNAP 2025 exam will be administered in multiple slots. The authority will not release any official answer key for 2025. However, candidates can estimate their scores from the memory-based questions. SNAP Result 2025 will be declared on January 9, 2026.
The following lists a few memory-based SNAP 2024 answer key questions. These have been retrieved from online resources and are for reference only. These can be checked to estimate the number of right and wrong answers.
SNAP 2025 marking scheme follows the same pattern as SNAP 2024. Right answers are awarded with one mark, and wrong answers have 0.25 marks deducted. With 60 questions in the examination, the total marks of SNAP are 60.
| Section | Number of Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| General English | 15 | 15 |
| Analytical and Logical Reasoning | 25 | 25 |
| Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency | 20 | 20 |
| Total | 60 | 60 |
Steps to calculate the SNAP score using the answer key and marking scheme:
SNAP 2025 examination is expected to follow the same pattern and difficulty level as SNAP 2024. The examination will be held on December 6, 14, and 20, 2025.
Previous year’s SNAP Exam was reported an easier General English section, which had a higher number of grammar questions for all three slots. Slot two had a tougher Analytical and Logical Reasoning section, where questions were lengthier. The same pattern was followed in slot three, where candidates took time to solve the Reasoning section, and the Quant section had tricky questions.
Cut-offs were higher for SNAP 2024. Among colleges that accept SNAP scores, SIBM Pune and SCMHRD, Pune had higher cut-offs, above 97 percentile.
SNAP 2025 exam structure is expected to stay the same as SNAP 2024 exam. No changes have been made. With three sections, there are 60 multiple-choice questions, which are completed in 60 minutes in online mode.
| Section | Number of Questions | Marks Per Question | Total Marks |
|---|---|---|---|
| General English | 15 | 1 | 15 |
| Analytical and Logical Reasoning | 25 | 1 | 25 |
| Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency | 20 | 1 | 20 |
SNAP 2024 had no surprises in the General English section of all three slots. The Analytical and Logical Reasoning section contained lengthier questions but were moderately challenging. Quantitative, DI, and DS were also challenging, featuring tricky questions.
Slot 1 was the easiest of all three slots. It primarily consisted of geometry and grammar questions. Answering 14–15 questions correctly was enough to clear the cut-off.
Test 2 was more challenging due to difficult Quant and Logical sections. Two questions on Venn diagrams and Heights and Distances took time to solve. Good attempts: 15–16 questions.
Test 3 had moderate to difficult difficulty. The Logic section included lengthy questions, such as binary logic and seating arrangements. Choosing the right questions was crucial.
Candidates reported an easier English section but found the Quant and Analytical sections lengthy and difficult. More questions were seen in grammar, reasoning, and arithmetic topics.
